Michigan Potato Industry Commission Scholarship
The Michigan Potato Industry Commission (MPIC) Board of Directors is proud to announce the application period is now open for the 2024 scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student at a post-secondary educational institution during the Spring 2024 semester in order to be eligible. All applications must be received by the Michigan Potato Industry Commission office no later than 4:30 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2024.
Scholarship requirements are:
• Is enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits per semester with a major related to agriculture at a Michigan accredited institution.
• Maintains a satisfactory grade point average (3.0) or better (transcript required)
• Provide a Personal Essay: education and career goals
• Provide two (2) letters of recommendation with the application
The recipient will receive a $1,000.00 check that will be sent to the address provided on the application and made out to the student. This scholarship can only be won once per student.
