Detroit-based Better Made Snack Foods, Inc.’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Joseph F. Riley as its new president effective Monday, Oct.12, 2026.
Mr. Riley will succeed current president, David Jones, who is retiring on Oct. 12 after eight years at the helm. During Jones’ tenure, the company experienced growth in sales and market territory, and made significant investments in its production facility, including infrastructure and automation.
Joseph Riley, the incoming president, is a respected veteran in the snack food industry and brings extensive operational and leadership experience to the Company. Catherine Gusmano, CEO and Chairman of the Board, expressed “excitement and confidence in Riley’s leadership style and his ability to guide the company through its next phase of growth in an industry that is quickly evolving."
