Charitable Partner 2023: Kids Food Basket
In 2023, the Michigan Winter Potato Conference is proud to partner with Kids Food Basket to help ensure children in Michigan don't go hungry.
Kids’ Food Basket exists to increase access to healthy food for children and families. The organization's core belief is that food is a right, not a privilege. Because that is not yet a reality, Kids Food Basket mobilizes human and financial resources to break down barriers that cause food insecurity. Services include the Kids Food Basket flagship Sack Supper program, community-driven farming, family food provision and educational programming. Collectively, Kids Food Basket and its partners work toward realizing a hunger-free West Michigan for all.
