Patrisha Bizoukas - GAP/GHP and Harmonized Audits, What you need to know

Patricia “Tricia” Bizoukas is the Fruit & Vegetable Inspection Program Manager within the Pesticide and Plant Pest Management Division of the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. She has held this position since November of 2019. Tricia is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the inspectors and auditors as well as the overall management of the program. While her background is in business, she has experience working with the ag community for many years. She began her career with the Van Buren Conservation District, working with many specialty crop growers in the southwest Michigan area, for over 18 years. She worked at Michigan Farm Bureau for a few couple of years assisting county offices before moving to the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development where she has been since 2008. Tricia brings a fresh approach to the program, always looking for various ways to improve services to the farmers and firms operating in Michigan.
